The number of working mums in England has risen by over a million in the last 20 years, according to recent government figures. The Office for National Statistics found that there were 4.9 million mothers with dependent children in work in 2017, up from 3.7 million in 1996.
What the reports don’t say, however, is that each and every one of these mums may well have had an issue when it came to getting their confidence back after having children. Whether you’ve just returned from maternity leave or taken a career break, becoming a mother has probably made you feel differently about yourself and, if you’re anything like me, may have made you lose your mojo.
So how can you get your confidence back and feel like yourself again?
