Deborah Garlick, CEO of the award-winning Henpicked: Menopause In The Workplace and founder of Henpicked.net, has been instrumental in advancing menopause and menstruation awareness and support since 2016. Her team has guided thousands of employers in implementing essential training and policies. In 2023, Deborah expanded her mission globally, co-founding Menopause Friendly Australia and partnering with MiDOViA in the US. She established Menopause Friendly Accreditation and received an award from the BSI for helping create menopause and menstruation guidance, setting new workplace inclusivity standards.
Through the Menopause Friendly Employer Awards and comprehensive training programs, Deborah celebrates and equips organisations to create supportive environments. As a prominent advocate, she frequently shares her insights in the media and through her book, Menopause: The Change for the Better, published by Bloomsbury. Deborah remains a leading force in promoting workplace inclusivity for menopausal and menstruating individuals worldwide.
Jo Lee-Morris – Head of Training, Henpicked
Jo Lee-Morris is Head of Training for Henpicked and is the 2023 ‘Equity’ award winner at the national facilitator awards – recognising her work to ensure everyone is able to access and benefit from training. Having worked in senior roles in L and D and women’s health for over 20 years, she is well placed to offer organisations the opportunity to support their teams to thrive in the workplace during menopause.
The team at Henpicked have been working with UK-wide and international organisations over the last 8 years to make it easier for them to introduce the right training, policies and practices to raise awareness, education and support of this critical area.
