Lola Anderson – British Rower | W4x European, World & Olympic Champion
A passionate advocate for womenโs sport, health, and inspiring the next generation, Lola Anderson is one of the most exciting young athletes in the UK. Inspired by Team GBโs rowing success at the London 2012 Olympics, she pursued that path all the way to an iconic win at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, securing Gold in the quad sculls. Making headlines for achieving her dreams, Lola was also awarded an MBE for her outstanding contribution to rowing. From her early days joining a rowing team in high school, she quickly demonstrated exceptional talent and drive โ winning national events, earning a place on the GB junior team, and thriving on the world stage.
Representing Newcastle University, Lola became widely recognised as a top-tier rower, progressing to the GB Under-23 squad, where she claimed Gold at the World Championships in the W4x. Her momentum continued as she transitioned into a full-time British Rowing athlete, winning bronze in the W1x at the 2021 World Rowing Cup, followed by silver and gold medals across European and World events in 2022. By 2023, Lola and the Great Britain Womenโs Quadruple Sculls team had made the event their own โ earning multiple podium finishes and culminating in World Championship Gold. Despite battling injury ahead of the Paris Olympics, her resilience and focus never wavered, leading to another European Championship win, a World Cup Gold, and the ultimate triumph in Paris.

Nicolle Dean is Co-Founder of QLVR (thatโs clever), a groundbreaking athletic footwear brand designed entirely around womenโs biomechanics. With 2 decades in the global footwear industry, Nicolle and her team are reshaping how we think about performance athletic shoes, redefining fit, performance, and sustainability.
At QLVR, Nicolle is challenging the outdated โshrink it and pink itโ approach by engineering athletic shoes around womenโs biomechanics with their slip on technology. The result is the worldโs first Running Slipper – a laceless, performance-driven shoe for cardio and cross training workouts, built on a women-specific last, featuring QLVRโs patented WingFit™ technology and sustainable bio-based materials.
A passionate advocate for women-first innovation, Nicolleโs entrepreneurial journey embodies purpose and perseverance – from turning a lockdown idea into a globally recognized design patent, to leading a crowdfunding campaign that raised over ยฃ100,000 in 30 days.
Today, she shares her mission to inspire other women founders to back their ideas and create products that put women at the centre of design.
